Our practice is excited to add another Veterinary Assistant to our team! We are looking for an assistant with a strong interest in veterinary medicine and will train the right individual with no experience. Essential Functions:

*Able to perform basic animal handling and restraint

* Assist veterinarians in the practice of veterinary medicine and surgery

* Assist veterinarians in outpatient exams by taking histories, vital signs, and weights as well as providing client education

* Collect and prepare diagnostic samples

* Assist in maintaining practice equipment

* Assist veterinarians in any other assigned tasks

* Maintain cleanliness of surgery suite, treatment area, and exam rooms

* Support DEA compliance as it relates to this role

* Any other duties as assigned

* 2 Year Customer experience Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• No weekends

• Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Veterinary assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
