Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral and The Animal Emergency Hospital is rapidly progressing to be the premier animal referral and trauma center for the North Carolina coastal region.The Animal Emergency and Trauma service works closely with Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral, a specialty referral practice offering Surgery, Orthopedics, and Animal Rehabilitation. We have CT scanning capabilities to compliment our digital xray and ultrasound services along with full in house labs.The Animal Emergency & Trauma (AETH) department and Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral (ECVR) is looking to hire experienced Veterinary Technician Assistants to work in our 24 hours emergency and Referral Specialty Hospital.

The current positions are for full time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of patient care, including assisting in administering medications and diagnostic procedures to include blood work, radiographs, blood pressures and ECG to name a few. Ability to have a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays a must. Overnight shifts may be available with shift differential pay. Experience required, with previous work in emergency and/or specialty practices preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
