General Position Summary

The Deckhand will be assisting the Captain with moving barges, personnel and other vessels from one location to another on the project site.

Typical Duties:

• Line handling, making and breaking tow, maintenance and repair of lines, deck equipment and tools.
• Maintenance/repair of vessel structure
• Assisting the Captain in any of his/her other responsibilities as needed or requested.

• Assisting in the overall cleanliness of the entire vessel
• Assisting in the safety of any passengers being transported.

Requirements:

The Deckhand will need to possess the Maritime credentials provided by the U.S Coast Guard, be in good physical condition and be eligible to obtain TWIC card.

Must possess basic firefighting skills and basic lifesaving and rescue techniques.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
