Empower AI: As a
Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) - Specialist I, you will work with a team of professionals who are responsible for designing, implementing, and administering security systems for the safety of the United States.
In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Empower AI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
- Provide a broad range of support to the Government’s Technical Security Program.
- Use knowledge of operational security, physical security, and electronics systems installation to perform TSCM work
- Receive requests and assign tasks to ensure completion of a mission
- Oversee and track progress of missions and manage reporting
- Recommend and evaluate new detection equipment to enhance the inspection processes
- Coordinate findings with the Government customer, and as directed, other Government entities and the intelligence community
- Manage and maintain equipment
- Project management
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with individuals at all organizational and management levels within and outside of the Department, including senior Government officials.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Requirements:
- Clearance Required: US Department of Defense (DOD) issued TS/SCI clearance and able to obtain a US Department of Energy (DOE) Q Clearance, or an active DOE Q Clearance
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2-years of professional Technical Security (TSCM) experience in conducting US Government level technical surveillance countermeasures missions.
- A Bachelors degree in engineering or closely related field from an accredited university—can substitute for required experience.
- Government certification in TSCM required; ITC certification is a plus.
