Proksch Transit is a 40-year family run United States Postal Service (USPS) contractor moving mail between USPS distribution centers and local post offices in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Proksch Transit has immediate openings out of our Rochester, MN center for full-time, part-time, substitute, and on call truck drivers! Opportunities available for permanent, seasonal, or temporary employment. All of our routes are local, home-at-night routes. Routes are split shift and deliver to various towns including Austin, Winona, Ostrander, Hokah, Mabel, and Rushford, MN.

Immediate Openings — Full Time Rochester, MN Driver Positions:

• Position available for our Rochester – Chatfield – Lanesboro – Rushford, MN route.
• Route departs from the Rochester, MN main postal distribution facility.
• Monday through Saturday work week with daily split shift schedule, approximately 33 hours per week, approximately $39,000 annually.
• Outbound route delivery starts in Rochester at 5:15 a.m. and ends in Rushford at 7:40 a.m. Inbound route pickup starts in Rushford at 2:00 p.m. and ends in Rochester at 4:15 p.m.
• Position available for our Rochester – Lewiston – Winona, MN route.
• Routes depart from the Rochester, MN main postal distribution facility.
• Monday through Saturday work week with daily split shift schedule, approximately 33 hours per week, approximately $42,000 annually.
• Outbound route delivery starts in Rochester at 5:00 a.m. and ends in Winona at 7:00 a.m. Inbound route pickup starts in Winona at 2:55 p.m. and ends in Rochester at 4:30 p.m.

Continuous recruitment interviews for potential Full Time, Substitute, On Call & Part Time Rochester, MN Driver Positions

• All routes begin and end at the Rochester, MN main postal distribution facility
• Routes run a Monday through Saturday work week, with additional Sunday runs during holiday peak season between November 1 and December 31.
• Split shift schedule. Outbound delivery begins from Rochester around 4:30 a.m. and ends in various towns depending on route around 7:30 a.m. Inbound pickup begins around 2 p.m. and ends back in Rochester between 4-5 PM depending on route.

Competitive pay starting at $22.70-$23.77 per hour, increasing with experience and employee longevity. Benefits available immediately which include monthly safety bonuses, quarterly retention bonuses, holiday pay, vacation pay, and an excellent retirement plan. Must be 18 years of age. Good driving record and work history required. Must possess valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL or non-CDL). Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test. Ability to pass a federal background check for access to US Mail and authorization to work in the U.S. Ability to lift 50 pounds (occasionally).
