Position Summary

The Treasury Analyst will prepare and execute Treasury transactions to ensure that Costco is sufficiently funded and risks are managed in accordance with Costco policies and procedures. They will aid in a variety of tasks and oversee projects as required relating to Treasury functions. They provide support to members, warehouses, and corporate partners. A successful analyst is knowledgeable about the industry and best practices, has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and can clearly communicate their findings.

Job Duties/Essential Functions

• Gathers and analyzes data from multiple sources to produce and validate reports, transactions, and invoices.
• Initiates and verifies payments and foreign exchange transactions.
• Provides assistance and recommendations to warehouses and other corporate departments.
• Researches and assists in resolving inquiries from internal business partners and external financial services suppliers.
• Manages Costco’s depository banks, armored carriers, ATMs, and other bank-related services including contract review, negotiation, review of services, and discrepancy research.
• Processes corporate cash and check deposits.
• Performs various cash management, investing, and forecasting activities.
• Prepares and reconciles the cash forecast.
• Extracts information and data to resolve reconciliation issues in a timely manner.
• Undertakes special projects, analyses, and reports as required.
• Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.

Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications
Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to produce accurate and timely work both independently and as a part of a team.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, internally and externally.
• Aptitude and desire to develop technical software skills.
• Advanced Excel knowledge including lookups, Pivot tables, logical functions, and Visual Basic.
• Strong ability to utilize analytical, mathematical, and statistics techniques to interpret data, identify risks, and evaluate opportunities.
• Ability to maintain thoroughness and accuracy while balancing multiple tasks simultaneously; meet strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities.

Recommended:

• Experience in corporate cash management and/or Treasury.
• Understanding of global cash management processes, transaction volumes and fees, global cash positioning, and business performance reporting.
• Professional demeanor and a team player with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of Costco warehouse and/or corporate operations desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
