Friendly Connections is looking for a committed Occupational Therapist to work with the patients throughout their journey of growth and improvement to help ensure that the client will function at their personal best. You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
• Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient
• Instruct, educate and train patients and caregivers in the skills and functions essential for promoting patient independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology
• Choose activities that will help the clients to carry out their daily routine independently.
• Observe/assess the progress of the residents & prepare detailed progress reports
