Connected HC is recruiting for a local/contract long-term care facility outside of Birmingham, Alabama. This nursing home is a part of a community hospital in eastern Alabama.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse – LTC
• Discipline: Nursing
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights available
• Employment Type: Travel, Local Contract

Job Functions:

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
• Relies on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks and accomplish goals

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• A minimum of one (1) years of RN experience in an LTC care setting preferred
• Alabama Registered Nurse State Licnese + Compact State License
