Trash Tech / Housekeeper

$17/hour

Days and weekend availabity

• 2nd shift - 3pm to 11:30pm
• 3rd shift 10:30pm to 7:00am

This position requires physical labor such as heavy lifting

** Must pass drug screen & background check
** COVID vaccine REQUIRED

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary: Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 75 to 100 pounds.
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneeling, bending, and extending for prolonged periods. Ability to work in a fast paced health care environment. There is exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requiring special clothing or safety equipment.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Cleaning experience, applicants need a valid photo ID to work at a health facility.
Communication and understanding of English is required.
