THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO STAY ORGANIZED WHILE MANAGING MANY DIFFERENT DELIVERIES AND ORDERS SIMULTANEOUSLY. GREAT TIME MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS, BOTH WRITTEN AND SPOKEN, ARE A MUST IN THIS POSITION. THE TECHNICAL SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS OUTSTANDING JOB OPPORTUNITY INCLUDE PRIOR USE AND BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF THE MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS (WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, ETC), BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS AND THE WILLINGNESS TO LEARN NEW SOFTWARE.
THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR: Managing all Drivers and all items related to Transportation of our products to our Customers. Handling the vast majority of incoming calls for Residential non-step products.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
1. Establish and develop Relationships with customers, while handling most of the incoming Residential orders. Use accounting software to enter orders and print out pick tickets.
2. Communicate and confirm expected delivery times with customers before the day of delivery.
3. Manage the drivers start times to meet the delivery schedules established and maximize our delivery output each day.
4. Work with Project Managers to establish shipping priorities for their Projects.
5. Establish and maintain a delivery schedule for all non-Step deliveries based on customer needs, truck and driver availability and product availability.
6. Contact and hire any outside trucking companies needed to supplement our drivers and fleet.
7. Make sure that drivers are trained in all aspects of driving a commercial vehicle including pre and post trip inspections, using electronic logs, over dimension requirements, etc.
8. Make sure that all drivers are trained in the safe use of the truck mounted cranes and schedule certification testing as needed.
9. Maintain Driver Qualification Files as required by USDOT.
10.Prepare and conduct annual performance reviews for each driver.
11.Determine Trucking requirements for each job based on product weight, space on the truck, lifting capacity of the truck mounted cranes and the need to hire outside trucking.
12.Answer phone calls as needed

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
