Our Transportation Coordinator is a key role supporting our factories success.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 1st shift (flexibility with schedule per business needs is required)
Open to working overtime, including weekends and after hours
Compensation
$28.00 / hour

Position Requirements:

• Run Open order Report for Region
• Resolve open orders for region
• Manage open PKU Report
• Ensure delivery appointments are received in a timely manner
• Verify all information in SAP is accurate
• Set up weekly carrier calls as needed to need to address service concerns in the region
• Contact carriers to ensure on-time delivery
• Work with Transplace on docking issues and resolve to keep operations moving
• Communicate with customers, Customer Service and carriers in a professional manner
• Execute and report out weekly KPI’s to ensure region is on track with performance
• Be able to analyze KPI data to understand misses and provide improvement steps
• Provide consistent and timely information to team and resource regarding all facets of dispatching and customer service
• Follow up on Key Account deliveries
• Open to working overtime, including weekends and afterhours, as needed- especially in peak season
• A “just do it” attitude with a drive to win and get the job done to support the business goals
• Analyze and action transportation spend and payload for cost optimization
• Work with accounts payable and carrier partners to clean up invoicing discrepancies, rating accuracy, and reduce aging invoices
• Available to travel up to 20%
• All other tasks and duties as determined by the RTM and business objectives

Qualifications
High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Logistics and Supply Chain preferred but not required.
Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Work with and learn various software systems, including Kronos, SAP, and RMS (proprietary system)
Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision
Communication and interpersonal that are strong in both written and verbal form
The ability to multitask and have strong organizational skills
No disciplinary action (written warning or above) in the last 6 months
