The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Frontline Support Global Learning Team (GL) strives to provide world-class training to AWS Premium Support and Customer Service agents and builders. Our internal customers in Premium Support and Customer Service provide global support to a wide range of external customers as they build mission-critical applications on top of AWS services such as Amazon S3 and Amazon EC2. To meet the growth of our support organizations, the Global Learning Team is looking for an L4 Training Coordinator to aid in our training program administration across the globe.
Job Description
AWS Global Learning has an opening for an L4 Training Coordinator based in the United States, with a global customer base. The Training Coordinator will demonstrate professionalism and proficiency in administration and organization for our AWS Support Engineering and Customer Service training programs. An AWS Global Learning Training Coordinator will be responsible for the administrative duties required to plan training events, Learning Management System administration for programs such as New Hire Training and Onboarding, Subject Matter Accreditation (SME), and Train the Trainer (T3) to name a few. As a GL Training Coordinator you will work with your team to ensure that our customers are provided the world’s best training and learning opportunities across all regions.
The primary responsibilities for the Training Coordinator include:
- PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION: Demonstrate professionalism and proficiency in core job duties and assigned programs
- CUSTOMER SERVICE: Become an expert user in the KNet, Asana, Adobe Connect and SIM systems, to process and communicate with team members, customers and stakeholders. Communicate to our customers and partners with a friendly, polished, and knowledgeable approach.
- TRAINING COORDINATION: Coordinate and schedule training events and coordinate logistics.
- LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POWER-USER: Become an expert in using our LMS in order to maintain courses, offerings, registration, wait-lists, and reports. Leverage the functions of our LMS and Adobe Connect to streamline registration, tracking and reporting processes. Represent the team on company-wide LMS project teams.
- PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Automate and simplify routine processes to make room for more complex work.
- CLASSROOM FACILITATION: Some of our programs require facilitation by staff or adjunct trainers. This role will be expected to build skills as a trainer through agenda facilitation and classroom management, working closely with senior team members in order to provide needed support.
A day in the life for a Training Coordinator begins and ends with focus on customer needs and quality learning experience for our customers. The Training Coordinator will work with the rest of the team to coordinate training events, search for qualified adjunct trainers when needed, training delivery if needed, and data entry and analysis using our tools such as Knet, Asana, SIM, and Adobe Connect.

The Global Learning team has grown exponentially over the past decade. We began as a small group of Training Specialists that served 3 lines of business in AWS support. As Support has grown, so has Global Learning. We are now a team the includes program managers, curriculum developers, learning experience designers just to name a few. Our backgrounds range from technical roles to public education, and it is our customer obsession and passion for learning that brings us together in a diverse and cohesive team.
- Experience leading and/or participating in structured process improvement
- Experience with Learning Management Systems
- Familiarity with adult learning concepts
- Recent experience in a fast-paced, global technology company
- Ability to prioritize tasks and events with autonomy
