Job description
The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their full-time Training Coordinator position in the Office of Georgia Quick Start. This position is located at the TCSG Georgia Quick Start Office in the Atlanta, Georgia.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under minimal supervision and working within general guidelines, the incumbent performs duties following innovative methods as a Training Coordinator. Responsibilities include expanding your manufacturing technology knowledge and leading the design and delivery of innovative technology curriculum to enhance Georgia's Maintenance Technician workforce. Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple manufacturing technology-based assignments. Travel within Georgia is required, and occasional travel outside of Georgia and the United States may be necessary.
DUTIES:
- Leads design, development and delivery of new course content for Industry 4.0 technology following Quick Start practices.
- Coordinates with Creative Services and Media departments for continuing innovation of learning methods.
- Prepare Training Specialists and Instructors in delivery of new courses.
- Leads the design and assembly of new Industry 4.0 technology level training systems.
- Leads on-site client training need assessments.
Works with other instructors and leadership to ensure consistent methods and standards are maintained.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's degree *and* two years experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five years of experience.
- Experience with PLC systems and/or Robotics.
- Six Sigma certification.
- Instructional system design knowledge.
- Experience in advanced manufacturing technology disciplines such as machine and batch process, operation, and troubleshooting.
