Trailer Mechanic Technician
Veltri, Inc. is hiring full time and part time Trailer Mechanic/Technicians for their Logan Township, NJ location. The team will be providing on site service for a fleet of trailers/and tractors. 90% repairs on trailer 10% on tractors. These positions will be available on site to handle repairs immediately or they will be able to diagnose repairs and send to shop/garage. We are running 24/7 so this is a Great opportunities for full time work/part work/weekend work.
Trailer Mechanic/Technician Duties:
- Light trailer maintenance changing lights
- Nose box, wiring, light electrical
- Repairs to trailer doors roll up and swing doors
- Putting decals on
- Temporary small patch work
- Repair to e-track
- Glad hands airline repair
- Brake chamber repair
- Brake adjustments
- DOT inspections
- Ability to diagnosis issues
Job Requirements:
- Must have own tools
- State inspection license
- Trailer repair experience
- Tablet/documentation ability
- 2+ years’ experience
- CDL A or B a plus
- Ability to work in all weather/service truck/lift gate knowledge

License/Certification:
- CDL B (Preferred)
- CDL A (Preferred)
