Traffic Control Plan Coordinator

Hourly Rate: $18.00 to 25.00 per hour DOE

B.A.T.S. is looking for a TCP Coordinator in our Woodbridge office. The TCP Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Traffic Control Plan Department with administrative duties. The position will report to the Sr. Manager of the department and will support and assist the lead TCP Coordinator.


POSITION DUTIES:

  • Process TCP Job Orders requested by both Customers and internal staff
  • Check, respond, and maintain TCP shared email inboxes
  • Input TCP Job Orders into tracking system
  • Update and maintain TCP Order tracking system
  • Providing administrative support to TCP Design Team
  • Electronic Filing
  • TCP assessments: Review customer requests and determine estimated number of TCP sheets needed. Must be able to read construction drawings.
  • Double checking job entries to ensure accuracy
  • Creating billing tickets
  • Data Entry
  • Assist other departments with general TCP questions
  • Works close w/ TCP Manager to implement new department policies and procedures
  • Various other duties as assigned


WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED TO SUCCEED AT B.A.T.S:

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Strong organizational & multitasking skills
  • Ability to accurately maintain records
  • Good geographical knowledge of Northern & Central California
  • Ability to multi-task and work in high stress environments
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficient with computers and computer software such as MS Office, Google Earth and Salesforce
  • Administrative Experience Required
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Team Player
  • Comfortable working in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Experience working with construction and or traffic plans
  • Good Typing Skills 35-50 WPM minimum
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • 2+ years construction and or transportation industry experience a plus but not required
  • High school Diploma or Equivalent
