XR Trading is a proprietary trading firm with locations in Chicago, London, New York and Amsterdam. XR participates in a wide variety of marketplaces including global futures, equities, commodities, options, fixed income, and cryptocurrencies. We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Trader to join our growing trading team. Our culture emphasizes teamwork, and focuses on continuous integration and test-driven development.

This position will fit talented college graduates who possess innate capabilities, such as those listed under required skills. No prior industry experience is required but is a plus. Training will take place on the job.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university in electrical engineering, computer science, chemistry, mathematics, physics or related technical field

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong computer skills with the ability to read and write code in Python
• Proficiency in C/C++ is helpful
• Math aptitude, analytical and problem solving skills
• Quantitative background in math/stats, engineering or economics
• Ability to react calmly and quickly in an electronic trading environment
• Demonstrated interest in trading
• Learns new concepts quickly
• Has demonstrated the ability to use good judgment
• Maintains integrity at all times
• Values teamwork but still can think and work independently
• Will dig in and be self-motivated and self-directed in personal growth and learning
