Job description:

• Provided one-on-one intervention to an adult at home and at other community-based program sites or community settings to support the adult in developing skills and important behaviors
• Work directly with the Behavioral Specialist in implementing interventions designed by the treatment team
• Provide onsite crisis intervention techniques. Immediate behavioral reinforcements
• Commitment and dedication to BBHS, LLC mission and core values.
• Ability to communicate successfully with client, vendors and team members.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Performs other related duties and activities required.

Job Requirements

Four-year college degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Criminal Justice or a related human services field.

OR

Four-year college degree in any other field with one-year minimum experience paid work that involved direct contact adult Individuals diagnosed with IDD.

OR

Associate’s degree or 60 credits towards a Bachelor’s degree with the equivalent of at least three years full time paid work in a job involving direct contact with adult Individuals diagnosed with IDD.

Training is provided but there are a few basic requirements that you must meet to qualify. Specific requirements:

• Clean criminal record
• Reliable transportation and valid PA license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
