Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading a team of 10-12 test engineers
  • Drive delivery for individual Infotainment domains
  • Serve as specialist with expertise in Infotainment domain and Validation Processes
  • Responsible for on time delivery of the assigned modules
  • Develop strategic plans for testing efforts
  • Create test estimates and define/build reusable testing assets for large/complex projects
  • Develop and implement test automation frameworks
  • Provide technical leadership and support the creation of complex tests
  • Advise the customer on innovative testing products and solutions
  • Coordinate validation activities with global teams
  • Software validation and verification activities for Infotainment projects and modules
  • Review work packets from team members
  • Domain specific testing Stability testing, Performance testing and Regression testing
  • Bench / Vehicle testing and troubleshooting
  • A strong network and the ability to initiate and maximize new business opportunities
  • Experience of building strong and effective relationships with clients
  • Identification and classification of issues with log collection
  • Monitor issues in issue tracking system
  • Work with peers, leads and remote teams to ensure successful execution of test activities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science / Engineering Desired, MS preferred
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in Testing
  • Good Experience in Verification & Validation
  • Infotainment domain (must)
  • Experience in setting up a test framework from scratch and improving existing frameworks to be more efficient and effective
  • Experience in defining and implementing test processes in the organization across multiple projects
  • Experience of identifying the appropriate techniques, tools and guidelines to implement the required tests and to give guidance on the corresponding resources requirements for the test effort
  • Experience of leading multiple release cycles
  • Experience in Blackbox Testing
  • Ability to create the simulated network using Canoe for Validation
  • Ability to do hardware bench setup.
  • Ability to Analyze issues and guide team to report in correct way
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence
  • Agile Scrum methodology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training in software testing
  • Testing on Android Platform, and Android Applications
  • Expertise in Android test and debug tools
  • Automation experience
  • Programming experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Work Location: On the road
