Zekelman Industries, Inc. seeks a Temporary Recruiter. Reporting to the VP of Talent Acquisition, this person will be responsible for the recruitment of hourly positions as well as light HR administration at our Wheatlan d Tube, Rochelle IL location. This is a customer-service oriented individual that will ensure that talent acquisition policies and procedures are followed, and hourly staffing needs are met.

This is a customer-service oriented individual that will ensure that talent acquisition policies and procedures are followed, and hourly staffing needs are met.
RESPONISBILITIES:
- Recruit, phone screen and interview for open hourly positions at the Wheatland Tube location utilizing various sources.
- Provide high quality service to our internal customers: the hiring managers.
- Ensure that the approved talent acquisition protocol is followed.
- Administer and review pre-employment testing.
- Assist with reviewing and writing recruitment ads for job boards, newspapers, etc.
- Serve as contact to HR Manager in filling open positions.
- Assist with conducting reference checks, background checks and ensuring pre-employment appointments are completed in a timely manner.
- Update weekly recruiting reports/metrics: Track and reduce “cost to fill” and” time to fill” metrics.
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Previous experience with an Applicant Tracking System is a plus
- Organized and detail orientated.
- Must work comfortably with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of employment law, corporate recruitment processes, recruitment strategies are necessary.
- Ability to work in the US without sponsorship
- Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
- Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
