Penmac Staffing is looking to recruit a General Laborer for a 90 day assignment for a business partner in Ash Flat!Description:
As a general laborer, you will be given assignments to help facilitate the improvements as identified by the operation.
As a GENERAL LABORER, YOU WILL:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. alone and 80 lbs. in a team lift.
- Be able to bend, stoop, and crouch in order to mark floors or lay out equipment.
- Reading a tape measure.
- Ability to use basic hand tools like hammers, screw drivers, scissors, et. al
- Work with manager to obtain plan and be able to execute with minimal follow up.
- Be able to work independently
- Good note taking or comprehension in order to remember direction and take care of tasks
- High School Diploma, GED, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to carry objects; perform dynamic activities including reaching and stretching; and frequent bending and twisting of the torso
Typical shop floor with possible exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, heat, cold, noise, vibration, oil and water. May be exposed to any number of these elements.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
- Associates Degree in any field
- 1 to 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to take good notes to carry out projects
