Speak with Taxpayers to screen and determine the type of assistance they need and schedule taxpayers for video intake appointments, compile interview notes for intake representatives and tax preparers. Multiple callbacks may be required until taxpayer is either scheduled for a video intake appointment, or referred to AFM partner resources.
Provide virtual assistance to taxpayers via video appointments. Verify taxpayer identity and confirm that taxpayers have the necessary documents to upload in order to complete their tax returns. Maintain video connection with the taxpayers at all times during the video appointments.
Prepare tax returns utilizing interview notes, IRS forms and tax documents. Ensure that you have all materials needed to complete tax returns and contact taxpayers to collect missing information if needed.
Conduct quality review of the tax returns. Schedule taxpayers for quality review video appointments. Email taxpayers IRS efile authorization forms and obtain their electronic signature. Maintain video connection with the taxpayers at all times during video appointments.
