Title: Telephone Triage Nurse (On Site)

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:50AM - 5:05PM

Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for handling patient calls regarding post surgical questions and concerns
- Communicating messages from patients to physicians and other providers
- Receiving and analyzing INR reports and communicating results to providers
- Responsible for processing refills on NSAID/Antibiotics per physicians orders
- Communicating with the patient to assess the urgency of the patients concern/question
- Utilizing the EMR to document patient calls
- Serving as a resource to clinical staff regarding medical information and patient assessment
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- LPN or RN License is required
- One year of prior triage experience is preferred
