Position Overview:

We’re looking for a technical writer to develop and manage customer help content for ImageTrend’s customers, including text and video, to be delivered through ImageTrend’s online help system.

• Develops product technical content for new and existing software products, including documents such as: release notes, reference articles, how to document, best practices, set-up guides and screencast videos
• Collaborates with the software development team and product managers to ensure content accuracy and applicability for the appropriate audiences
• Works with Madcap Flare in a team environment to create, update and organize single sourced content for release through a Web-based system
• Analyze current documentation to standardize existing content as well as identify and address outstanding content needs

• Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Technical Writing, Communications or related degree
• 1-3 years of professional Technical Writing experience
• Strong knowledge of authoring tools preferred, specifically MadCap Flare
• Proven topic-based authoring and CMS tools experience
• HTML skills preferred
• Excellent organizational skills, appreciation of critical timelines and the ability to self-motivate
• Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty and a positive attitude
