BWG Strategy is a fast-growing, entrepreneurial company providing industry insights and intelligence to business leaders and investors. BWG conducts over-the-phone and in-person sessions across our extensive executive network, covering more than a dozen industries, including technology, media, consumer products, retail, and e-commerce. BWG hosts over 2,000 sessions annually with over 80k professionals. We are seeking a dedicated, intelligent, professional Technical Writer to join our team.

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for documenting our events, providing clear, concise summaries and synopses for our clients. You will work directly with partners in the business to deliver the core primary research products and services our clients rely on to make critical business and investment decisions.

Mandatory Skills/Background:

• Our ideal candidate possesses exceptional writing and communications skills, strong intellectual curiosity, and a passion for research and technology
• Our writer can strike a balance between clarity and brevity across a wide field of topics in substantial volume
• Writing samples are required, preferably in the area of business, technology, media, and emerging markets
• BWG’s events focus on Technology, Media, Retail / Ecommerce, Semiconductors, and large enterprise business trends. We strongly prefer professionals who are interested in following the trends in these industries
• A college degree with some experience in non-fiction writing, technology journalism, blogging, or technical documentation is required. At least 2 years of writing in a professional environment is preferred.
• Desire to work in a start-up paced environment and culture is required
• A mix of remote and on-site work is preferred, located in Cranford, NJ, 45 minutes from NYC

Key Responsibilities

• Create clear, concise written summaries and synopses of high-level discussions among business and technology professionals for a non-technical audience
• Review and edit written content for clarity and accuracy
• Work with our Insight Reports team to create custom presentations and research reports that provide insights into key investment debates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
