Technical Sales Manager
Job description
Our global consumer products contract manufacturing client is hiring a Technical Sales Manager to join their Boston area office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a combination of product engineering, key account management and new business development ability.
The position will involve about 25% international travel. Outside of the travel, this is a hybrid role with work done remotely.
BS in an engineering or technical major
5+ years of successful new business development targeting large consumer goods manufacturing firms
Knowledge of automated and semi-automated manufacturing processes including plastic injection molding and assembly processes preferred
2+ years of sales/applications engineering and project management experience.
Forecasting and job costing experience in a contract manufacturing environment highly desirable
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
