Technical Sales position for our Hose Division in Livonia, Michigan. The Macomb Group is a Sterling Heights, MI based company with 19 locations servicing Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, & South Carolina. Our customer base ranges from local entities within our service territories to premier national entities within the power, food, steel, chemical, etc. industries.
We are looking for a mechanically inclined, motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven leader to join our Livonia, Michigan team. This position will have a number of responsibilities which include:
Responsibilities

Able to build instant rapport within a team environment

Learn the overall function of inside sales
-
Connect with external customers & prospects in following up on quotes, orders, etc.

Communicate consistently with internal sales team in order to support a wide range of inquiries
-
Work with counterparts in learning fabrication involved with braided hoses
-
Ability to balance working on sales functions while assisting with fabrication and completion of projects

Keeping up with product and service information and updates
-
Explaining and demonstrating features of products to customers, prospects, and inside team

Staying informed about competing products and servicesDemonstrate the ability to discuss Macomb’s broader footprint to customers & prospects
