Promotes consistency and acts as subject matter expert in the implementation and management of record material and information systems that support operational processes. For document and record material, activities include records management, configuration management, release, distribution, modification, and archival functions to assure data is organized from generation through retirement.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for evaluation and interpretation of regulations to ensure the technical aspects/content of required documentation for PNNL facilities meets the intent of local, state, and federal requirements. Support development/revision and implementation of resulting processes, practices and procedures. Investigates and resolves compliance issues/questions received from PNNL management or staff. Perform assessments of assigned program elements to ensure that requirements are flowed down into HDI work controls and deployed effectively in the field. Analyze the data collected during these assessments to determine strengths and weaknesses, causal factors, root causes, and recommendations for improvement. Responsible for maintaining the Laboratory s Facility Use Agreement (FUA) process and technical bases for the operating boundaries of PNNL facilities. Develop and maintain working relationships with PNNL staff and all levels of PNNL and DOE.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Perform the document and records management activities, such as entering metadata, ensuring documents are processed according to quality and record requirements
- Assist the reliability program manager in processing maintenance records, assessments and generating metrics to track completion rates and performance
- Develops solutions to improve processing and coordinates changes with the plant operations personal (i.e., building engineers, work team leads, crafts)
- Provide system generated reports and customer service to the facility operations staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Technical Institute Graduate (TIG)/ AA and 4 years of related experience -OR-
- High school diploma/GED and 6 years of related experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent command of written English
- Good communication skills
- Proficient in general computer and documentation skills
- Ability to understand general engineering and operations documents
- Organized work habits and ability to multi-task
