Job description
The Rehabilitation Team Leader responsibility to direct shift activities consistent with departmental and corporate policies and procedures including flexing staff based on operational needs and enter and approve time on automated time keeping system for designated employees. Is expected to provide input only for evaluations, hiring, coaching and skills development, and discipline. The Rehabilitation Team Leader is responsible for coordinating Rehab services provided by multiple therapy disciplines in a variety of setting locations. Daily operations decisions are made independently and in collaboration with others. Team leads access confidential, organizational information and oversee the use of health system funds and assets. The Rehab Team Leader is responsible for assisting with budget preparation and adherence, implementing process improvement, promoting superior customer service, leading site program development, and collaborating with other departments to achieve operational goals. For their site the Team Leader coordinates and executes caregiver development, hiring, disciplinary and performance evaluations with manager oversight. This position ensures compliance with all regulatory accreditation standards and Adena Health System policies. This position has direct patient care responsibilities consistent with the needs of the department.
Minimum/Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Current PT, OT or Speech license or be eligible by the State of Ohio
- CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- 3-5 years clinical experience in identified or related service area.
