The Paint Lead oversees the flow of firearms into the paint prep area and that the correct products are being prepped and painted. They will also ensure the quality of the work their team is producing.

• 
  Ensure a constant flow of work into the paint prep area and sees that work through final paint.
• Delegate tasks for production
• Organizes the SKUs coming from QC to make sure the correct firearms are being pushed through.
• Responsible for inspecting work on parts prior to paint being applied.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area, maintains and wears all required personal protective safety equipment.
• Participates in all continuous improvement programs by offering suggestions and exhibiting initiative in areas within direct control.
• Assist painters and paint prep, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Basic knowledge and understanding of automotive/industrial paint process and prep work to be completed.
• Ability to efficiently use various hand and power tools.
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work with multiple priorities and constant interruptions.
• Basic communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Must understand vague and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain confidentiality as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree
• Previous lead experience
• PSA Manufacturing experience
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of automotive/industrial paint process and prep work.

Work is performed in an operational warehouse environment. While performing regular duties, this position is exposed to various chemicals and solvents. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.

This position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping and stretching, and full range of body motion including handling and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, manual and finger dexterity, as well as a normal range of hearing and vision.
