Position Title: Production Team Lead (Molding) – 1st Shift

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Work Location: Battle Creek

Hourly Pay Rate: $20.16

No Uniform or Steel Toes Required!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership to all teams
  • Follow and enforce safety guidelines
  • Provide production associates with needed training and orientation to the department and job
  • Inspect parts for quality per standard and enforce quality guidelines
  • Work effectively with team members to trouble shoot quality and/or production issues
  • Keeps area organized and clean following 5S principals
  • Change machines over, perform needed preventative maintenance and keep abreast of how to run new parts and operate new machine innovation
  • Know different types of material in department and to make sure everyone follows Kanban system
  • Complete department paperwork and required training programs

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to perform work responsibilities safety and ability to follow all safety rules and regulations
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • At least 2 years manufacturing experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage projects in a timely manner
