The J. Turner Hood Elementary School is seeking a Grade 2 Teacher, Long-Term Substitute from May 15, 2023 through June 20, 2023 (or the end of the current 2022-2023 school year). Essential Duties

• Unit/lesson planning
• Direct instruction
• Assessment of student learning
• Communicate with families regarding curriculum, student progress, and classroom/school activities
• Work collaboratively with the grade level team, support faculty, and administration in the best interest of all students

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education teaching license in Elementary, grades 1 to 6 preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Collaborative working demeanor
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
