Tax and Audit Positions available

Our established CPA firm is seeking a qualified, highly motivated, career-oriented individual to join our tax or audit practice.

Responsibilities:

Staff Tax Professional

• Preparation of federal and state income taxes for individuals and businesses
• Conducting basic tax research and planning
• Small business bookkeeping
• Preparation of compiled financial statements
• Assists with client communication as needed

Staff Audit Professional

• Audit planning and audit program development
• Perform analytical and substantive procedures on account balances
• Perform tests of operating effectiveness of client internal control
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and corporate tax returns
• In coordination with audit team make recommendations for client process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or CPA candidate
• Experience preparing tax returns a plus
• Computer skills
• Accounting and analytical skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
