As a member of the Consumer Line Talent Management (CLTM) team within the Consumer Talent organization, the Global Talent Placement (GTP) Coordinator role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute your experience and passion for organization and details in a complex and global business. This individual will work with the GTP program to support the development and implementation of mechanisms to increase our talent supply for the program.

This role will report to the Global Talent Placement Operations Leader based out of Seattle and will support the GTP team. The role will primarily focus on supporting the coordination, planning, and management of all talent supply activities and processes. This role will also work on broad CLTM-wide initiatives and projects as needed.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE ROLE
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, possesses strong planning and prioritization skills, high judgment, and strong communication skills (verbal/written). The candidate is creative and curious and is willing to collaborate and partner with others. The candidate has the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests with precision across global teams. The candidate is an experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility and composure. The candidate has a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with business leaders at all levels.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop the talent supply strategy to increase awareness of the program across Amazon.
  • Manage the participant experience by hosting office hours to answer program specific questions, schedule the applicant interview for open roles, and be the main POC for applicant questions about their assignment, including daily management of the program email inbox.
  • Help coordinate and schedule various talent supply activities, including new country forums, roadshows, etc.
  • Create and update program standard operating procedures (SOPs) along with other program documentation.
  • Work with the GTP team to review survey results to continuously improve the participant experience.
  • Partner with Operations leader to manage participant/program data, including pulling of reports, updating data files, etc.
  • Help manage the various communication channels and mechanisms (newsletters, travel alerts, slack channel) to ensure the team is responsive and our message is consistent.
  • Provide back-up support to operations to ensure tracking and reporting is maintained up to date.
  • Participate in program team meetings to help capture key takeaways and actions.
  • Manage or participate in other CLTM-wide projects, as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Extremely detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced ambiguous environment with precision.
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Suite products.
