Our Opportunity

We're hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the Siemens Logistics’ recruiting needs.

This position can be mostly remote. Candidate will be required to come to the office for meetings when necessary.

What you’ll do

• Be the subject matter expert and trusted advisor for hiring
• Be the go-to partner to hiring managers, understanding their needs and developing effective relationships with them
• Source and develop pipelines of candidates proactively, as well as advertising and promoting our job opportunities
• Research and develop insight about the recruiting market, competitor insight and valuable data to support recruiting strategy
• Keep our ATS up to date (we use Avature) and be proactive in making our processes more effective
• Lead with an inclusive mentality across our hiring practices
• Recruit hourly and professional candidates across the U.S.

You must be proactive and able to prioritize well, as we’re going to consider the time taken to identify the successful candidate as an important aspect of our efficiency as a team. We care about giving candidates a positive experience, so you will ensure your hiring managers are at the very top of their game in giving feedback quickly and handling expectations well.

What we’re looking for

• 5-8 years of recruiting experience, gained within in an in-house, agency or RPO environment & ideally within a corporate environment
• Extensive experience in “pro-active” recruiting
• Experience in using Avature applicant tracking system is advantageous
• Experience in high volume recruiting required
• Must be very organized and self-driven
• Expertise in pro-active sourcing/ head-hunting and interviewing, as well as phenomenal job ad writing skills
• Experience recruiting in Indeed, LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter, Handshake and other platforms required
• Overtime may be required
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Influential and persuasive communicator; we will look for evidence that you can build trustful relationships with people from all backgrounds
• Experience recruiting positions within the Engineering, Technology and Maintenance sectors would be advantageous
• The ability to travel to job fairs across the U.S., as needed
