Responsibilities: SCOPE OF WORK:

  • The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for the advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, recruitment, hiring, onboarding, assisting in orientations, collaborating with department managers, attracting candidates creatively and other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the recruitment of personnel consisting of professionals in executive, managerial, information systems, telecommunications, engineering, project management, estimating, finance, utility, administration and trades.
  • Work with company managers to identify skill sets necessary for open positions, recruiting techniques, position description development and updates, applicant tracking, and maintenance of recruitment database.
  • Recruitment and employment process including but not limited to: tracking of open positions, maintaining applicant tracking system, applicant file maintenance, applicant correspondence.
  • Forecasting future recruitment needs and maintaining a strong pipeline of candidates.
  • Working closely with managers to identify staffing needs to maintain an understanding of current and future openings.
  • Develop and help execute a variety of effective and creative recruitment strategies.
  • Provide weekly and monthly recruiting reports and/or metrics to management.
  • This position is responsible for maintaining relationships with internal partners, trade associations, staffing agencies, university partners, and interacting with federal and state agencies.
  • Organize and attend Job Fairs and Community Events
  • Other tasks as needed.

Qualifications: WHAT YOU OFFER

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communication or Business.
  • EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years of previous recruiting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical construction management and skilled trade functions preferred.
  • Familiar with labor laws, work rules, regulations, and record keeping
  • Strong administrative, computer, organization, and communication/interpretation skills are required.
