Title: Systems Operations and Start Up Leader
Location: Eden, NC
Duration: 18 Months

Job Description:

• THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS A CURRENT MANUFACTURING IT SPECIALIST/MANAGER/LEAD WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WITH START UPS IN THE FOOD & BEVERAGE OR CPG INDUSTRY.
• The Systems Operations and Start-Up Leader will play a key role in supporting capital projects and initiatives to meet business, schedule, and budget objectives. This position supports the End-to-End Manager and plans, conducts, and coordinates operational requirement gathering, preparedness, and startup execution which includes the evaluation of business processes in partnership with Digital Manufacturing, equipment commissioning and validation as applied in capital projects for wet and dry pet foods, pet treats, and pet litter.
• A key aspect of this role will be consistent collaboration with both internal and external partners including but not limited to Client Engineering (NPE), Product Technology Center (PTC), Technical Applications Group (TAG), Quality Assurance (QA), Safety Health and Environment (SHE), Human Resources, Product Supply, Digital Manufacturing, Factory Operations, Leadership, and Vendors.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Site design documents which illustrate clear deliverables for network design, data center, workstation placement and other Connected Worker principles.
• Oversight of installations by in-house and/or third-party contractors which will adhere to Client and Client standards.
• Infrastructure budget which includes equipment and installation line items.
• Contribute to commissioning schedules with other OSLs. This is inclusive of the 30/60/90 design reviews.
• Contribute to the overall application landscape as relevant to the capital project scope.
• Procurement of equipment or supplies as identified above.
• Ensure lines and equipment are commissioned and ready for production activities

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in associated field or 3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred manufacturing IT experience
• Preferred experience with large scale project management / leadership
• Preferred experience with vendor management

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
