Ø Schedule: Sunday - Thursday (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM CST Time)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform discovery and requirements analysis for new system features
• Document and test the customizations
• Solaris Unix System Administrator must have experience in conducting routine system administration tasks and logging data in system admin logs
• Solaris Unix Systems administrators are responsible for maintaining Solaris system efficiency
• Maintain and troubleshoot a wide variety of Solaris Unix systems and networks to include high volume/high availability Solaris Unix systems
• Have knowledge on a number of debugging protocols and processes
• Able to troubleshoot problems and issues identified by customers and implement corrective actions quickly
• Applied Solaris Unix Patches to servers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three years of Solaris Unix Solaris 10 and 11 experience
• Troubleshoot problems and issues identified by customers and implement corrective actions quickly
• applied Solaris Unix Patches to servers required
• The VI editor experience required
• Participate in planning, troubleshooting, and status meeting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Work independently or as a team

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is required
• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

Clearance:

· The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Indoors in normal office environment. May require extensive periods of sitting or standing. Frequent computer use at workstation for several hours at a time. Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
