Job description
The Systems Administrator I administers the Company's computer systems to ensure optimal performance. This includes but is not limited to installation, configuration, tuning, monitoring, and identification and resolution of problems.

Essential Functions
Build physical and virtual systems (on-premise and cloud) using standard build processes.
Administer servers and associated systems to meet or exceed performance standards by identifying performance problems, crafting solutions, and implementing or making recommendations, as appropriate. This process also includes monitoring performance, tuning as needed, performing scheduled maintenance, and taking other steps necessary to ensure optimal performance.
Server, and storage hardware maintenance, with guidance from Senior System Administrators.
Software, firmware, and security update deployment.
Assist in requirements gathering, development, and testing of new systems or system upgrades.
Problem resolution based on research and experience.
Maintain written processes and procedures to include server and system configurations, startup, shutdown, and maintenance procedures, diagrams, and layouts.
Active Directory Group Policy/Endpoint Management (Intune) Policy support.
Active Directory/AZURE AD Hybrid infrastructure accounts and groups management.
Account Management: Onboarding, Job Change, Offboarding support.
Perform other duties and complete projects not specified in this job description, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent, or equivalent job experience. Relevant job experience, training, and certifications may be substituted for the degree requirements on a year-for-year basis plus one (1) or more years of general IT experience. Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
