As a Systems Administrator , you will perform the following duties in support of a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) network for our DoD client in Saint Inigoes, MD:

  • Serve as the technical expert and system administrator for system software, hardware, and infrastructure/services
  • Provide answers to customers by identifying problems, researching, and guiding them through corrective steps
  • Maintain and enforce policies, procedures, IT standards, and associated plans for system security administration and user system access
  • Resolve complex IT and network problems to ensure interoperability of voice, video, and data services across multiple platforms
  • Configure network equipment and subsystems
  • Manage Sustainment tickets in a timely manner
  • Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues and document customer interactions
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
  • Recommend inputs to technical documentation to include engineering test procedures, installation instructions, technical directives, and bulletins

Must Have:

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • 2+ years of experience working in a Sustainment environment with five (5) years of relevant IT experience
  • Self-starter: ability to work with limited supervision
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Detail oriented in order to keep granular notes on tickets
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical computer issues
  • Current US Passport Required

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with NIPRNET/SIPRNET and Type 1 encryption devices
  • PowerShell and CMD line scripting, knowledge, and experience
  • Install, configure, support, and train misc. customized system solutions including network and security devices, cabling, and other hardware and software to customer requirements
  • Experience in configuration of Dell PowerEdge and Cisco network equipment
  • Demonstrate experience with any or all, local area and wide area networks providing voice, video, and data services; DMVPN, IPsec EIGRP, QoS, wired VoIP, wireless VoIP, and VoSIP; VLANs; IPv4 addressing and subnetting; firewalls, routers, switches, and IP accelerators
  • Demonstrate experience with Windows 10, Server 2019, DNS, DHCP, WDS, AD, and virtualization

Years of Experience Required:

  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience

Training/Degree Requirements:

  • BS degree in Information Technologies, Information Technology Security, or a relevant technical discipline, or BS degree in a non-related field with at least six (6) years of relevant IT experience
  • Current DoD 8570 compliance – minimum CompTIA Security+ CE certification
  • Current Certification in Windows Server/Client OS

Travel:

  • Must be able to travel; position requires 20-30% CONUS/OCONUS travel
