Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

• The primary role is Windows Server Administration with a secondary role of MS SQL Server Administration.
• Support roughly 600+ Windows and 900+ SQL Server installations, almost all of which are virtualized.
• Responsible for day-to-day support and enhancements of global hyper-converged infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell, Active Directory, and Group Policy is required.

Typical Day:

• High engagement and collaboration with team members, technical specialists, architects, and/or suppliers in developing solutions to customer-related requests and/or system problems.
• The position is 100% remote.

Education Requirements:

• Associate's degree in the computer-related field plus 8-10 years of experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred with 6+ years of professional exp.

Technical Skills

Required:

• 6+ years exp with Windows Server Administration.
• 6+ years exp with Active Directory
• 6+ years exp with SQL servers

Desired:

• PowerShell, Data Security, Automation and Scripting, Problem-Solving

Soft Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Strong mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Team player

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $22.26 - $50.29 per hour
