SALARY INFORMATION: Up to $82,468.74 Annual/ Pay Grade O/Job Code ITP043

Job Responsibilities

Under limited supervision, oversees the installation, configuration, and support to a local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), storage and back-up systems, Aruba Networks, Palo Alto Firewalls, Sharepoint, VM clusters and servers, automation, laptop and desktop computers, and/or mobile devices. Recommends equipment improvement or replacement. Serves as subject matter expert and may also serve in a lead role providing technical support and guidance to IT Director. Documents all incidents and requests received from IT Ticket system to maintain historical records and related problem documentation. Directly responsible for the following systems backups, server hardware and storage, as well as virtualization layers for existing hardware. Applies system updates and patches which is critical to protect critical IT infrastructure systems. Responsible for phase-out of old or replaced server equipment. Assumes new projects or initiatives, as requested by IT Director. Responsible for documentation and sharing of information with IT staff within the department. This position functions as a lead in the IT Department under the general leadership of the IT Director. Must be able to pass an MVR for the purpose of driving a DCBOH vehicle to perform the essential functions of the position and travel to remote centers to provide support, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Five years of related experience OR Associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university of related experience OR at the lower level Systems Administrator 3 (ITP042) or position equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: In addition to the minimum qualifications, excellent verbal, and written skills, proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, Excellent organizational, management.

*Must be able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds and meet requirements for driving of DCBOH vehicles, with no restrictions*
