About the Agency:

The Southeastern Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (SCADD) has been providing quality treatment services to men and women struggling with addiction since 1966. SCADD is able to provide a continuum of treatment services, licensed by the State of Connecticut, Department of Public Health. We are an agency that believes in second chances and the ability of people to find recovery. We provide High-Intensity Residential Treatment, Low-Intensity Residential Treatment, Outpatient & Intensive Outpatient, Withdrawal Management (formerly referred to as Detox) Medication Management, and Recovery Housing. Our empathetic, compassionate staff are dedicated to supporting people with addiction.

About the program:

SCADD’s Altruism Houses are a residential treatment program with locations in Norwich and New London, Connecticut. The program is designed to assist and support men and women in their sobriety. This program affords individuals the opportunity to apply learned recovery skills, prevent relapse and promote personal responsibility. Residents are able to reintegrate into educational, vocational, familial and social structures.

Position Summary:

SCADD is currently seeking compassionate candidates to provide client oversight for our residential treatment facility, working under the direction of the House Manager to ensure a safe recovery environment.

Education/Training Hours

Vacation/Sick Time 9 paid holidays per year, 2.5 weeks’ vacation (after 1-year completion of employment). 4 Hours Sick time per month.

Bi-lingual a plus!

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
