THE PROGRAM

Be a part of PROMOTE!, a Vista Hill Prevention / Early-Intervention (PEI) Program partnering with the Escondido Union School District (EUSD) utilizing the Incredible Years® evidence-based practice model to provide a myriad of support services to the student’s families including:

-Working collaboratively with the EUSD Family Liaison Team to promote parent outreach and family engagement in school and community events

-Supporting Vista Hill Staff with Incredible Years® Child Dinosaur Program, Small Group service outreach, and IY Parenting outreach

-Parenting support services

-Family Workshops and Wellness Activities

-Referral and linkage to community-based resources

THE POSITION

Partner with EUSD’s Family Liaisons and Vista Hill Clinicians to plan and implement parenting support services while using your real life experiences and knowledge of community-based resources. Inspire and promote other parents at your child’s school to participate in school-wide programs such as Parent Workshops and access resources through school Family Engagement Centers. Participate in community-based events, parenting support groups, and connect with parents to identify common areas of need as well as how to address these needs in the community.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Microsoft computer skills
  • Bilingual english/spanish
  • Must have valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to various schools.
  • Background check, tb and drug test, and meet COVID vaccine requirements.
  • Having a child in Escondido Unified is a plus!

BENEFITS

This position receives paid time off (vacation and sick leave), paid holidays, and employer-paid pension.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 per hour
