Masis Staffing is looking to hire an_ Inside Support Cost Estimator _to start as soon as possible. This role is a full time 40 hour a week position, with the work being done in our Sales and Administrative Office which is centrally located in Chicopee, MA. Prior experience in HVAC or Construction field is preferred, but not a requirement if you demonstrate the necessary skills and initiative.

General Overview of Responsibilities:

• Learn products to determine how to bid material per plans and specification
• Managing bids including checking for addendums, preparing and updating quotes
• Utilizing spreadsheets for estimating and word documents for writing proposals
• Analyze and interpret information on plans and specifications and construction documents.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for use in determining estimates and project budgets.
• Communicate with other team members outside sales, customers and vendors
• Consistently follow up and monitor all quotations, sales orders and projects

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Excel, Adobe, Word and Outlook is required
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Driven to meet deadlines
• Mathematical aptitude is needed
• Ability to learn and retain large amounts of product information
• Ability to multitask with high attention to detail
• Ability to use common sense and reasoning when solving problems
• Growth mindset- commitment to continuous learning and growth
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Blueprint knowledge is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
