Supply Chain Specialist Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive inventory from vendors and returns
Track shipment full life cycle
o Warehouse to Customer
o Customer to Warehouse
Manage multiple forms of communication: email and slack.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as needed to address delays or
missing shipments
Perform audits across inventory buckets to ensure accuracy
Perform weekly cycle counts
Work internally across multiple departments to ensure inventory is tracked efficiently
across multiple teams.
Perform spot checks of product to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
Willingness to be a self-starter.
Build a strong, trusting relationship with team members and vendors.
Identify opportunities to proactively address potential challenges
Meet challenging situations on returns or lost in transit shipments
Utilize numerous software tools to accurately record shipments and inventory steps.
Other responsibilities as directed by Nikola Supply Chain Manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal Nikola Support Specialist at Nikola Labs will have the following qualifications:
2+ Years of some form of warehouse inventory experience
Experience with inventory control measures
Experience warehouse management tool
Ability to use remote communication tools to interact and add value to internal and
external stakeholders (ie. Zoom, Slack, etc)
DESIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Strong collaborator who can build trust and contribute to the success of the team
Understand how all departments and team members contribute to the success of the
organization and be comfortable to step in support however needed.
Tech savvy
Professional appearance, excellent communication skills and professional conduct
Fluency in English; other languages are a plus
Legally authorized to work in the USA, without sponsorship
Ability to make independent decisions
Basic computer and technical skills
Utilize small hand tools such as, wire, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and
hammers.
Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines
Basic understanding of electronics
Be able to push, pull or lift 20-50 lbs.
