Job description

• Supplier management & development to ensure the best suppliers and optimum supply chain efficiency.
• Manages commodities and fosters cross-functional alignment.
• Coordinate & manage a virtual/ line team to achieve optimum conditions & savings through collaborative, targeted activities to increase profit.
• Defines commodity structure, organization, and strategy (in alignment with management).
• Develops and implements material productivity measures to achieve the maximum contribution to the targets.
• Communicates the strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.
• Negotiates contracts; defines core assortment; documents frame contracts in relevant supplier management IT systems.
• Forwards systematically all relevant procurement related project information (e.g., updated contractual conditions, etc.) to keep all project participants up to date.
• Identifies procurement risks, opportunities, and market forces to avoid potential damage/ exploit potential opportunities through risk & change management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience strongly preferred, but not required.

Pay: From $1,680.00 per week
