Supply Chain Risk Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Business Information
Our mission
As part of the strong development of its Business Information Services, Coface is recruiting a Pre-sales Consultant responsible for harmonizing Supply Chain Risk Information subject matter expertise with large multinational account customers and financial organizations.
Role purpose:
The Supply Chain Risk SME is responsible for partnering with the Sales team to drive complex solutions sales. The role holder acts as the solution subject matter expert during the sales cycle and owns the end to end solution design to solve specific customer problems. The role holder also represents the technical and functional aspects of the solution and performs presentations / demonstrations, assists with technical questions or concerns during the sales process and frequently participates in the initial stage of the project specification process.
What you’ll be doing
Accelerate Vertical Solution Growth
- Focus key activities on opportunities that support vertical growth
- Be the go to SME for specified verticals and drive the vertical strategy in terms of product solution requirements and GTM
- Engage with Sales, Product, Pricing, Finance and Sales Ops to identify value in the solutions and creatively price solutions to suit client requirements
- Engage with Delivery and explain client requirements and agree solutions to be proposed
- Structure solution demonstrations to match client requirements
- Support RFx responses
- Rollout and training, handover of knowledge for regions in how to sell, consult and deliver new solutions.
- Contribute to business collateral to enable the production of high-quality packaging for new solutions, including sales and marketing materials, demonstrations, and business documentation
Lead solutions
- Support sales with detailed qualification of opportunities
- Map requirements to solutions
- Demonstrate solutions (specific to client requirements)
- Create Statements of Work to support pricing of solutions
- Provide initial pricing for delivery of solutions
- Assist with proposal documentation
- Support contracting with specific terms and conditions so as to ensure contract reflects what was sold and protects Coface
Support development of sales opportunities
- Identify new opportunities in existing and new clients
- Constantly evaluate current solutions and propositions and how these can be optimized for market requirements
- Provide ongoing demonstrations in large clients to spread understanding of functionality across different business/portfolio areas
Impact:
- Having direct impact on the global company achievement revenue and sales budget targets
- Creating a strong impression of Coface for group level collaboration
- Use of creative sales strategies, keeping an eye on efficiency and integrity
Liaison
- Ensures the proper implementation of solutions in partnership with internal teams, coordinating all resources (Information, Risk, legal, IT, etc.) in order to deliver quality service to customers.
Monitoring
- Provides monthly monitoring of actions undertaken as well as regular reporting to the Region and the Group.
Who are we looking for?
Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the sale, presale or consultancy of services and/or complex solutions, over long cycles, to major international accounts.
- Strong Business understanding within the supply chain risk information domain across customer lifecycle.
- Deep knowledge of supply chain risk information solutions
Education background:
- Higher education Degree level (business school or university).
Functional skills:
- Fluency in English; fluency in another language is an asset.
- Strong written & verbal communication.
- A good network and a strong ability to develop relationships with large companies regardless of their sector.
- Skilled in setting up POCs and building a convincing storyline aligned to the presentations and/or demonstrations.
- Ability to evolve in an international and matrix environment with a marked interest in working in project mode.
- Able to shape and define solutions matched to strategic business objectives and functional requirements whilst meeting the technical needs of the client
IT skills:
- Excellent knowledge of MS office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
