In This Role You Will
Be a change agent in bringing our RxEvolution strategy to life! As the Supply Chain Project Manager, you will act as liaison between the IS department and the system users in the distribution centers with regard to warehouse system updates, changes, and modifications. You will oversee major IS projects, the implementation of new warehouse management system, including the development, testing, financial project accountability, and successful implementation. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of warehouse management system to all network DCs. Including developing project scope, establishing project plans, managing internal & external resources, capital budget accountability, conducting acceptance testing, training key DC managers & associates, implementation, post implementation follow up, and adhering to assigned timelines.
  • Develop required system specification documents for warehouse management system changes including coordination & implementation of system updates.
  • Responsible for distribution Capital Budget Administration, including, CER approval management, vendor invoice processing, and submitting monthly spend forecasts to finance. Manage reallocation of capital budget approvals due to changing business needs.
  • Manage the execution of distribution CSA Audit program. This responsibility includes audit question development & review, team development, schedule coordination, and FTC controls documentation.
  • Manage the distribution DPMO Quality program including the annual goal development and quarterly reporting of DC results.
  • Coordinate and implement the schedule for warehouse management system updates/upgrades. Check warehouse management system for data accuracy.
  • Responsible for vendor management and revenue tracking of the DC Cardboard Recycling program.
  • Partner with IPG and manage procurement planning and vendor negotiations in support of distribution centers. This includes plastic totes, corrugated boxes, RF equipment, forklifts, forklift batteries, labels, and other items.
  • Manage DC IT systems hardware replacement and maintenance, data security, disaster recovery testing for the DC network, and systems/applications data inventory updates.
  • Manage plastic tote and cardboard budget development, replenishment ordering, vendor negotiations, and budget tracking.

You're Qualifications Are
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain required.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, WMS systems, IT or related fields required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
