Supply Chain Manager is responsible for driving contract compliance by utilizing our Group Purchasing Organization to source product inquiries tomaintain contract compliance and standardization initiatives, to ensure overall cost reduction and enterprise wide cost savings based on predefinedenterprise strategic goals and performance metrics.
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for Selecting, orienting, training, scheduling, assigning, directing and supervising departmental personnel.They are responsible for evaluate work performance and initiates or recommends personnel actions such as merit increased, promotions, demotions,transfers, disciplinary action, and/or termination.
This position will report to the Hospital Administrator/Operations Director and Regional Director of Supply Chain Management. Responsibilities:

- Establishes quality improvement, fiscal, productivity objectives in conjunction with Supply ChainManagements Strategic goals.
Analyzes requests for item adds and makes appropriate recommendations.
Collaboratively works with the Surgical Services departments to manage, support cost reduction initiatives, product
standardization, and implements processes to reduce days of inventory on hand. Meets and exceedsenterprise Surgical Services Supply Chain performance metrics and defined targets with the guidance ofRegional Director.
Contributes to and supports ongoing efforts to identify, recommend andimplement new systems or processes that add end-user value, goals and metrics, enhance the procurementprocess and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Develops, implements, manages, and regularly communicates policies and procedures related to theprovision of purchasing services in conjunction with corporate directives.
Contributes to and supports ongoing efforts to identify, recommend andimplement new systems or processes that add end-user value, goals and metrics, enhance the procurementprocess and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manages the safety of the hospital’s materials, including recalls in collaboration with corporate directives.Actively manages and leads Vendor management program ensuring enterprise compliance within their hospital.
- Supports the Regional Director (SCRD) in managing, planning, organization, development and submissions ofthe local Capital and Maintenance Contract Budget processes. Responsible for the development of thehospital’s capital budgets on an annual basis, ensuring not to exceed the hospitals budgetary guidelines.Supports, advises, and assists Departmental Managers within their hospital/region by assisting with thedevelopment, preparation of departmental annual operating budgets.
- Knowledge of Lawson, and the ability to manage purchasing tasks in the event of an emergency. Providestechnical support for regions Lawson procurement system, and assists with Surginet data collection as needed.
High School Diploma/GED, Required
Bachelor Business or related field, Preferred

Knowledge of medical supplies preferred
Knowledge of key activities within the supply chain organization to include: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Contracting, Logistics, A/P Finance,and Value Analysis preferred
Lawson suite of supply chain programs preferred
