THE POSITION: Supply Chain Jr. Analyst
The Supply Chain Jr. Analyst is responsible to provide timely analyses (whether standard or ad hoc), keeps data updated, monitors workflow to ensure data accuracy and integrity, displays technical competency working from various data sources, and summarizes data in visually appealing presentations for decision making. This is a full-time role with a chance to join a team of senior consultants and accelerate your career!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze data to predict weekly/monthly supply availability and in-stock levels.
- Assist and maintain forecast models based on trends and demand patterns.
- Maintain and enhance weekly supply/demand reporting to drive the inventory allocation process.
- Leverage analytical skills to identify risk and provide recommendations/alternatives.
- Support and drive various projects & initiatives including measuring distributor shipping performance.
- Assist in crafting communication to be provided to vendors to assist with vendor management and forecast planning.
- Support Procurement team in report execution and data analysis, to better understand internal and vendor execution.
- Assist in data and system validation to ensure existing and new proposed processes are accurate.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- BSc/BA in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience in data mining, analysis, and Forecast/Planning.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. inventory, planning, warehouse management).
- Analytical mind with business acumen.
- Problem-solving aptitude, attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to set long-term goals and communicate them to others.
- Proficiency with MS Office, including spreadsheet, reporting, technical research, relational databases, and other ERP systems.
- Ability to quickly build trusting relationships, gain credibility, and partner with leaders and peers.
